- Sanpiau(Rice Porridge)
This is prepared by making rice porridge, frying the papad, and adding the papad to the porridge. If you prefer, you can add boiled chicken to it. For the seasoning, you can add dhania leaves and sauce, and you can make chutney with onion and chilies for better taste.
- Vawksa Rep(Smoky Grilled Pork)
This is the main Mizo dish that most people eat, especially during the feast. You can cook it, and when it’s ready, you can put the mustard leaf on it and cook it for around 2-3 minutes.
- Chhangban(Sticky Rice)
Chhangban is a traditional Mizo snack. It is served with Kurtai(jaggery), or you can have it with tea. It is one of the famous snacks in Mizo society, and one must try it when visiting Mizoram.
- Bai(Mizo Food With Green Leafy Vegetables)
It is a traditional Mizo dish and holds a special place in the culture of Mizo. It is a flavor stew that combines fresh vegetables, meat, spices, etc. If visiting Mizoram you must try this special dish you will not regret it.
